 Aren't they a cute family? This shoot has been in the works for quite some time, and finally we got to do it! Tara won my prize I had submitted into at Graces Crochet Place. Well with the terrible Alberta summer, and me between jobs it was hard to set up this shoot, but finally we were able to do it this month! We went out to the corn maze. It was a great idea, as there were hay bails, a big field of corn, and a barn. It was perfect for fall photos. We didn't spend long in the maze as really, it's ALL CORN, so we were kind of over it in the first little bit. I saw what I thought was a pretty nice field on the drive over, so I suggested it to them, we get there it it was a THISTLE field. I felt so bad for them but they were troopers and sat in it. Made for some nice country fall photos! Thanks to Tara for wanting to win my prize! Hope to work with this family in the future!

Such a wonderful family! I am happy I got to photograph this beautiful bunch! These kids were very well behaved, it was so easy! The kids had fun playing on the playground, and the little baby, what a cutie! I must say I love fall photos. The weather was perfect, it was a nice morning shoot, and I had a great time with all of them! I want to thank Dawn Pederson for sending this family to me! I hope to photograph them in the future! Thanks again Bennett Family!

Congratulations to this couple! Johanna is a good friend of mine, and I know how much she wanted to get married to the man of her dreams. The day was perfect! The bride looked like a princess! And I know she felt like one too! I was so honored when she asked me to capture her moments getting ready and be her official photographer for her reception! I am so happy I did, because some great moments were captured! Congrats again to the lovely couple! Best wishes!

Deb's Rock & Trash The Dress/Divorce Shoot!

 

Whooo!!!

This was a fun shoot I must say. We did it over two days. We couldn't actually "trash" the dress as she is selling it, but she got to rock out in it one more time.  First day we went down to the worst part of town to take some photos.  We went down to city hall where she walked into the pool, stood under the spraying fountains, and got soaking wet. She managed to fall and go right under the water! That was priceless! She also got interviewed by the local Edmonton Sun! For the second half of the shoot we went back down to the worst part of town to a graffiti wall where she stomped on the dress, threw her "pretend" rings away, pretended  to set the dress on fire, and throw the dress away. Big thanks to Karly from ShimmeryMatte Makeup Artistry as she did Deb's hair and make up for the second part of the shoot! Thanks to Deb for all the laughs and fun! Meet the Pederson Family

 
What an awesome shoot this was! First of all Celia aka Dawn and I went to school together in Armstrong. I've known her since grade one, and haven't seen her in probably 15 years. She moved out to Alberta and raised a family. And what a cute little family of three I must say. At first the kids weren't so keen on getting their photos taken but once we got going it was fine! Anica, Celia's daughter came up with a lot of the ideas for the shots too! I should hire her as my assistant! Thank you again to them for allowing me to take their photos! Can't wait to work with them again soon!
